114. Wye Way Silver Lime
The picturesque view down the River Wye in Hereford is distinguished by a monumental silver lime.
Stand on the wrought-iron Victoria Bridge, a nineteenth-century pedestrian suspension bridge in Hereford to admire a landmark silver pendant lime. Your eye will be drawn to its distinctively uneven canopy towering over the other trees around it on the left bank of the Wye. The tree was likely planted in the mid-1800s, making it just a few decades younger than the former Hereford General Hospital, the Georgian building in front of which it grows.

Limes always feel like they're introverts or at minimum always taking naps! What lovely trees!
