192. Pier Head Dawn Redwood
Small but perfectly formed, a giant of the future offers a new vision for Liverpool.
Liverpool’s Three Graces are the three iconic buildings that line the waterfront at Pier Head. In recent years the Royal Liver, the Cunard and the Port of Liverpool have been joined by avenues of dawn redwoods which will, in only a decade or two, bring even more grandeur. On the central reservation opposite Water Street, the second tree to the south east is sturdy and symmetrical. My bet is on this one to be a landmark of the future.

The view of Pier Head from over the water is 'iconic', as they say. How will the trees contribute to/affect it? What's the plan here?
