Always been a favourite. Sadly we don’t have them in Ontario Canada. That specimen is bigger than I have EVER seen. Thank you so much.

I've never seen one with cones before!

I think the male cones are only briefly this conspicuous, the female cones are rounder and appear singularly at the end of the branches, and they are green and scaly so blend in more. It's not uncommon for trees in the UK to bear cones, and viable seed.
