They're looking so glorious in this March sun! There's another fine one at the end of Waveney Avenue, SE15, as well as one gently towering over Pullens Open Space in SE17

I don't know either of those, but I am sure they are spectacular. Next time I am down theer I will be looking out for them.

I hope this one has grown back well after the rather brutal haircut it had last year. I tried growing acacia dealbata twice but it gets too big for a small town garden sadly. I miss it right now but then remind myself of the mess the tree makes throughout the year 😂

It was looking a bit awful last year wasn't it? I hope time has healed it! I guess they can get well pruned too, but it's just a lot of work to keep them trim.

I think they make too much mess ( constant droppings all year round) and they get very dense , for a small town garden. I tried an interesting one with red tinged leaves that had promise but it too grew bigger than I was happy with. I shall appreciate at this time of year from afar and from the Florists

Oh lovely, I'm a big fan of mimosas! Took a photo of the one in Victoria Embankment Gardens on Friday, which was dazzling in the sun.
