Fascinated by the idea one little fragment of a vanished landscape.

As CS Lewis once wrote, there's an incredible fascination in “the far-borne echo, the last surviving trace, the tantalizing glimpse, the veiled presence."

Have you covered any trees in Kent, specifically trees on the pilgrims' way?

I grew up in Kent, and there are many trees I know there; I’m sure some will surface here. Canterbury, where I imagine you will go, is great for Baobab planes, like this one up the road in Maidstone https://thestreettree.substack.com/p/9-turkey-mill-baobab
