Rising above Reading’s relentless traffic, a Cedar of Lebanon is a survivor from quieter times.
It does look like someone had a vision of how it would complement the architecture. If so, that was some fine long-range thinking. Beautiful!
I imagine many people back then would only have had the vaguest idea how cedars of Lebanon would mature, so this demonstrates great vision combined with a good dose of luck!
It's pretty easy to raise one for consideration. Most district have a TPO map to cexk
